In Britain, there has been a surge in rental scams that are fleecing innocent renters out of thousands of pounds with fake property ads. Renters are getting asked to put down deposits on properties they will never actually get the keys to. After falling victim to a scam a few years ago, Max became obsessed with exposing how scammers really work. Now, turning his attention to rental scams, Max wants to test how easy it is to pull off a rental scam on an epic level. To test his bets, he first tries his luck with a London 5-star hotel, to see whether he can blag one of its luxury rooms off as a real rental property.
