The Stranger on the Bridge

This is the inspirational story of Jonny Benjamin’s search for the stranger who talked him out of jumping off Waterloo Bridge. As part of the film we launched a global online campaign called #findmike which was followed by more than 350 million people around the world. Through the narrative of Jonny’s personal story the film explores the complex subjects of mental illness and suicide - particularly amongst young men - with sensitivity and honesty. The film was the most-viewed documentary of the year for Channel 4.
